The Western Texas College Foundation Scholarship Application for the 2026-2027 academic year is open! If you are a student who will be attending WTC starting in the fall of 2026, you’re invited to apply.

The priority deadline* to submit your scholarship application is April 3, 2026.

*Students who submit their scholarship applications by the priority deadline will be processed first. Students may submit a scholarship application after the priority deadline, but will be subject to funding availability.

The Foundation offers two ways to apply, an Online Scholarship Application and a PDF Scholarship Application.

The PDF Scholarship Application must be typed . Handwritten applications will not be accepted. You will need to download the form to your computer or device to fill it in. Please be sure and to save it to your computer or device.

• Your address and Social Security number

• Household income information

• Your college classification you expect to have starting in the fall of 2026 (freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior).

• An unofficial transcript from your most recent school (high school or college)

• A typed personal statement/essay of no less than 500 words (more instructions on application).

1. Visit or contact the WTC Financial Aid Office to discuss your financial aid options.

2. Complete the WTC Foundation Scholarship Application (online or PDF).

3. Review your application carefully before submitting. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

4. If you’re using the PDF application, all information must be typed. Handwritten or incomplete applications will not be considered.

5. Submit your completed application, including:

• Scholarship application
• Personal essay
• and unofficial transcript.

All scholarship recipients are subject to Western Texas College and federal financial aid regulations. These regulations may affect eligibility for part or all of a scholarship award.
