Lexi painting a mural at WTC

Lexi Antonick works on the new mural in the WTC Resource Center.

Western Texas College is creating spaces where students feel inspired, connected, and proud to call WTC home. One of the newest examples is a vibrant mural taking shape in the WTC Resource Center by former student Alexxus “Lexi” Antonick.

Inspired by Dr. Sharp’s vision to enrich the campus experience, the project is funded through the INSPIRE Program, an initiative supported by the Western Texas College Foundation. The mural celebrates the beauty of West Texas while inviting viewers to discover hidden WTC landmarks and symbols woven throughout the landscape.

More than a beautiful work of art, the mural reflects WTC’s commitment to creating a welcoming environment where creativity, learning, and community come together. Through the generosity of Foundation supporters, the INSPIRE Program empowers students to leave their mark on campus while enhancing spaces that will inspire future generations of Westerners.

Every investment in Western Texas College, whether through scholarships, campus enhancements, or innovative programs, helps create an environment where students can learn, belong, and succeed. Together, we are building a campus that puts people first, has purpose always, and that moves forward together.
